Laura Ness, aka “Her VineNess,” is a wine journalist and wine competition judge who writes about every aspect of the wine business; the good, the bad and the verboten.

She is the wine columnist for The San Jose Mercury News, Los Gatos Magazine, South Valley Times and Edible:Monterey, and is a regular contributor to Edible:EastBay, Wine Industry Network, Wine Country This Month and Wine Business Monthly.

She’s known to carry a corkscrew in every purse, because winemakers are generally without one.
