Earning an MS in Mechanical Engineering could not displace the childhood memories and experiences of working family vineyards and orchards with his grandfather. After establishing himself professionally in manufacturing Mike went back to his passion for food and beverage.
Owned and operated destination restaurant in upstate New York until moving to Las Vegas in Spring of 2005. He became corner stone of wine program at Wynn’s Bartolotta Ristorante di Mare. After three years there, Mike accepted the position of Italian Portfolio Manager at Wirtz Beverage Nevada, now Breakthru Beverage.
Mike is also one of the original judges for the Finger Lakes International Wine Competition. For the last number of years Mike has been judging San Francisco International Wine Competition and this year will be judging Great American International Wine Competition.
